I’m a performance coach, father, former pro wakeboarder, and someone who knows firsthand what it takes to rebuild a body from the ground up. After a devastating brain infection left me paralyzed for 11 months, I was told I might never walk again. Instead, I relearned how to move, trained myself out of chronic inflammation, and eventually completed a 50km ultramarathon.
Before the injury, I had a
42-inch vertical, competed at national & world levels in wakeboarding, and trained for elite performance. After recovery, I took everything I learned and created a system that combines real strength, honest movement, and resilience that holds up in the real world.
Through Off Grid Athletics, I now coach youth athletes across Alberta — teaching strength, mobility, injury-proofing, and explosive jump mechanics. I’ve worked with national-level athletes, coached dozens of kids to their personal bests, and specialize in turning overlooked rural athletes into powerhouses — whether they’re on the court, field, lake, or trail.
My philosophy is simple:
